Associate Chiropractor

We are looking for a positive, motivated, and compassionate Associate Chiropractor to join our team. Position Details

  • Employment Type: Part-Time (25–32 hours/week, minimum 3 days)

  • Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience

  • Location: San Clemente, CA (local candidates preferred)


Requirements

  • Licensed DC or eligible to be licensed within 3 months (recent graduates welcome)

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Commitment to natural physical and biochemical health solutions

  • Eagerness to grow professionally and build long-term relationships with patients

  • Physically capable of performing chiropractic adjustments and soft tissue techniques

  • Comfortable working with a variety of patients including pediatric, prenatal, athletes, seniors, and acute/chronic care


Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, manage, and treat a minimum of 10 patients per shift

  • Document SOAP notes in real time and maintain up-to-date patient files

  • Recommend treatment plans and nutritional supplements where appropriate

  • Follow clinical protocols set by the owner/clinic

  • Provide vacation/sick coverage for the lead doctor

  • Participate in clinic operations, patient education, and community outreach

  • Always maintain HIPAA compliance and professional standards

  • Assist with clinical demonstrations and exercises as needed


Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Familiarity with Graston Technique, Webster technique, ART, biochemistry, and detoxification programs

  • Working knowledge of Jane EHR systems

  • Experience recommending nutritional supplements

  • Strong anatomy and physiology foundation

  • Experience with both physical medicine and natural health care

  • Strong math and documentation skills

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Valid driver’s license

Physical Medicine Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Medicine Assistant to join our Chiropractic team! We are looking for a positive, upbeat, hardworking team member who loves working both one-on-one and in teams with others. This position requires someone who is comfortable performing physical rehabilitation on patients and directing patients' safely with their physical home care activity. We want someone who is motivated to treat as many people as possible, who is in alignment with natural health solutions, and who will encourage natural physical and biochemical health to reduce pain and inflammation. Note this is a YEAR-ROUND position.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Experience as a Physical Medicine Assistant, 1 year preferred.

  • Familiarity with geriatric, children and acute/chronic care settings.

  • Knowledge of physical medicine and natural medicine health principles and practices.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient care and safety.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.

  • Knowledge of soft tissue techniques desired.

  • Proficiency in medical terminology and ability to read and interpret patient records and treatment plans.

  • Customer Service experience, 1 year preferred.


Key Responsibilities

  • Taking down patient SOAP notes in real time, documenting all exams, and preparing treatment plans.

  • Include recommended supplements on every SOAP note.

  • Execute various aspects of the physical exam under the doctor's supervision.

  • Create daily social media content with patient consent.

  • Encourage patients to complete their treatment plan.

  • Follow treatment plan and therapies determined by the doctor.

  • Be able to determine the patient's stressed and tight muscle by touch.

  • Build trust with patients and listen with empathy to patients during appointments and adjust their physical technique to meet the needs of the patients.

Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Costa Lifestyle Medicine is an established practice in North Beach San Clemente. We are looking to bring on a dynamic licensed massage therapist who is passionate about helping people live more actively and pain free. We are a growing wellness office specializing in chiropractic, soft tissue therapy, and functional medicine in a family practice environment. We have an immediate part-time opening for a professional, reliable, and proficient energetic licensed massage therapist. We are looking for someone with skilled soft tissue techniques who will be able to provide a safe and relaxing experience for our patients. Therapists need to possess the ability to perceive patients’ requests and needs through good communication and need to be able to read patients’ nonverbal cues (body language) to adjust their soft tissue treatment. Ideal candidates preferred to be cross trained in aromatherapy, reflexology, Certified pregnancy massage a plus, therapeutic massage, and cupping highly preferred. Evening availability is a must and future Saturday morning availability is a plus. We provide sheets, tables, and lotion.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing, consulting and performing massage treatments in a professional and comfortable setting

  • Participating in team huddles before shift starts

  • Directing all efforts toward patient massage satisfaction

  • Follow massage treatment protocols as determined by Chiropractors.

  • Evaluate client to determine painful or stressed areas of the body

  • Guide clients through service offerings and determine which massage would benefit them most.

  • Listen effectively to patients during appointments and tailor techniques to meet their needs.

  • Recommend further massage sessions and build a positive therapist – patient relationship.

  • Recommend add Ons to patients who could benefit from CBD oil or cupping

  • Performing 30, 60, 90-minute-deep tissue, trigger point, sports, prenatal, lymphatic, and Swedish therapeutic massage.

  • Maintain a clean professional appearance of yourself and your work treatment space

  • Communicate effectively with staff and patients.

  • Must be proficient using computers and maintain accurate timely patient records and ensure compliance with clinic protocols.

  • 4-5 hours of massage per shift part time two days per week or more

Work Experience and Education:

We are currently searching to add a Front Desk/ Wellness Care Coordinator to our team. Through our functional medicine clinic, we focus on treating patients with a whole body, root cause approach. We spend considerable time getting to know the health history and current conditions of each patient. Patients are supported in our clinic by providers, health coaches, medical assistants, and our Front Desk & Patient Coordinator.

We are looking to add an experienced Patient Care Coordinator/ Front Desk Associate to our team. You will work alongside our Chiropractic and Functional health care practitioners to support a variety of responsibilities.

Job Summary :
Welcome patients and provide them with a WOW experience. You are the face of the clinic and get one chance to make a great first impression. This position requires empathy, positivity and genuine care for our patients in our community. Proficiency, efficiency, and multitasking in the full range of general office services, communication with patients, providers and staff, internal and external marketing are necessary. Basic knowledge and belief of chiropractic, functional medicine and massage including insurance are required.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Answering phone calls, texts, and emails in a timely manner.

  • Charging for procedures, packages, and supplement sales

  • Reports and supports providers and the team

  • Helping patients with any questions about services provided including specialties, techniques, retail items, services offered and insurance

  • New patient inquiry outreach

  • Scheduling and rescheduling

  • Billing and collection costs

  • Complete overflow work from providers

  • Keeping and maintaining a full schedule for all service providers and scheduling patients to complete treatment plans

Qualifications:
Experience and Education

  • Must have 1-2 years in administration or healthcare, preferably physical medicine, naturopathic and or functional medicine.

  • High School Diploma College a plus but not required

  • Customer service experience required
